A major traffic intersection in Aurora will be impacted by emergency repairs of a leaking gas pipe.
The intersection of East Quincy Avenue and South Buckley Road will likely be partially shut down Thursday and remain closed through Sunday while a gas leak, under the middle of the intersection, is repaired, according to Aurora officials.
One lane of traffic on Buckley will be open in each direction, according to our partners at The Denver Post.
A detour will direct traffic to Smoky Hill Road and Reservoir Road.
Drivers should avoid the intersection if possible, delays are expected.
