A mechanical issue forced flight from Denver to Orlando to make an emergency landing in New Orleans early Friday morning.
Frontier Flight 688 departed from Denver International Airport and landed in New Orleans at about 4 a.m. MT, according to Jim Faulkner with Frontier Airlines.
There were 227 people onboard, Faulkner told Denver7. No one was hurt.
Frontier Airlines is flying empty planes from Denver and Orlando to pick up the passengers in New Orleans, Faulkner said.
Maintenance crews are investigating the source of the problem, said Faulkner.
