1. Denver to test Wireless Emergency Alert System
People in Denver should hear their mobile phones go off Wednesday morning, but don’t be alarmed, the city is just testing the Wireless Emergency Alert System. The loud warning signal should activate on mobile devices within the city of Denver sometime between 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

2. Vigil planned for 8-year-old boy killed by float
There will be a prayer vigil Wednesday night in Windsor to remember Brycen Zerby, the 8-year-old boy who was tragically killed in an accident at the Windsor Harvest Festival Parade Monday, ahead of memorial services set for Friday. Generations Church said it will be sending a pastor to a vigil scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at Eastman Park in Windsor to remember Zerby.

3. More details into alleged misconduct by Broomfield HS softball coach released
The Boulder Valley School District placed coach Paula Seifried on administrative leave over the weekend while Broomfield police investigate allegations of misconduct. Broomfield police said Tuesday afternoon that the school resource officer had been unable to complete all their interviews Tuesday and that more information about the alleged misconduct would likely be released Wednesday.

4. Showers and cooler in Denver for Wednesday

5. Mother hits 2-year-old daughter in truck while taking other children to school

Westminster police said this appears to have been a tragic accident and are investigating how it happened. They are currently working the scene, which is located on the 8600 block of Zuni Street in the Highview Mobile Home Community.
