DENVER -- Voting systems across Colorado temporarily failed Tuesday amid voting at roughly 3 p.m., delaying voters.
The Colorado Secretary of State's Office announced the issue at roughly 3 p.m., telling voters 30 minutes later the issue had been fixed.
Later, officials said certain aspects of ballots couldn't be processed from 2:47 to 3:16, but voters were urged to stay in line.
When systems returned, voters in lines could be heard cheering in poll lines in Aurora.
Officials said they would be investigating what brought the systems down.
