ARVADA, Colo. — A 77-year-old man who went missing early Monday morning hadn't been found as of Tuesday at 6:30 a.m.

Family members of John “Nick” Goodban called the Arvada Police Department on Monday to report him missing. Police responded to the area of the 17000 block of W. 85 Lane to learn more. The family and Goodban are new to the area, police said. He has Alzheimer's disease and needs medications, his family said. He did not take any medicine with him.

Goodban is a white male, standing about 5 feet, 8 inches, and weighs about 160 pounds. He has gray hair.

He was last seen in a multi-color hat, long-sleeved maroon turtle neck shirt, khaki pants and brown sandals. He doesn't have access to a vehicle. His family told police that the cars they own are still at home.

If you see Goodban, contact the Arvada Police Department at 720-898-6900 or your local police department.
