DENVER – Police briefly shut down the eastbound lanes of I-70 at Colorado Blvd. in Denver Friday afternoon to investigate a suspicious vehicle.
Denver police officers also closed down Stapleton Drive at Dahlia because of the investigation, which the department has not elaborated on. A department spokesperson told Denver7 there is a car under an underpass that officers are checking out.
But the highway reopened just a few minutes after it was shut down. Traffic remains backed up in the area, however.
