Drivers are dealing with slick and snow-packed conditions on roads and highways in the Denver metro area.
One of the latest crashes was in Northern Colorado, near Wellington.

On westbound Interstate 70, there was a multi-vehicle crash near Colfax.

The Colorado State Patrol in Castle Rock reported multiple crashes on Interstate 25 in the Castle Rock/Lone Tree area:

The State Patrol warned about slick conditions on the Eastern Plains:
Extremely icy conditions Aurora to Kansas. Please slow down and take your time if you have to travel the I-70 corridor today!

In the mountains, Berthoud Pass was closed at 7 a.m. for avalanche mitigation work. It reopened at 7:45 a.m.
In Boulder, the Sheriff's Office was getting reports of limited visibility:
Snowplows are making their way around, roads are snow-packed & icy in spots. Reports of limited visibility around S. Foothills Hwy/93.
