DENVER — One driver died after a crash involving a pickup truck and a Denver International Airport snow plow late Wednesday.

Jay Casillas with the Denver Police Department said they responded to a call around 9 p.m. Wednesday on a two-vehicle crash near Queensburg and Trussville Streets by DIA.

The snow plow was driving northbound on Queensburg Street and the truck was moving southbound, Casillas said. The truck lost control due to the road conditions. The plow driver tried to avoid a crash, but the pickup ended up hitting the snow plow, he said.

The driver of the truck died at the scene, Casillas said. The snowplow driver was not injured.
