LITTLETON, Colo. — A driver crashed a car into The Boardroom in Littleton Monday morning before fleeing from the scene, leaving the car running inside the sports bar and steakhouse.
The Littleton Police Department said the driver allegedly burglarized The Boardroom around 5:40 a.m. Monday. Initial calls about the vehicle crash didn't come in until 9:10 a.m., according to the police department.
Connor Wist with South Metro Fire said after firefighters arrived at the scene at 51 W. Dry Creek Court, they found the car and people inside the building, but no reported injuries. They could not locate the driver at the scene.
The driver had crashed through the front of the building. Surveillance video obtained by Denver7 shows the moment of the crash as well as what happened next:
Firefighters were on scene around 9:45 a.m. to stabilize the structure.
Littleton police confirmed that the vehicle had been stolen and two males had been inside. Nobody has been arrested as of 12:30 p.m. Monday in connection to this incident.
