DPD locates missing 7-year-old boy who hadn't been seen for a day

DENVER – A 7-year-old boy missing since Thursday has been located and is safe, Denver Police tweeted Friday afternoon.

A missing child alert was sent out just minutes before police announced Isaiah Gibson was safely located. The alert put the child's last known location at 10700 East Dartmouth Avenue.

Police spent the day Friday searching a nearby golf course and park for the 7-year-old boy. Details surrounding his disappearance and his safe return have yet to be released.
