Firefighters in Douglas County battled a fire at a structure in Pike National Forest on Sunday.
It happened on Elk Park Road.
This was a difficult fire for crews to battle because the flames broke out in a remote location.
Crews couldn't get trucks to that area and had to walk with their gear from 2 miles away.
The fire spread to some trees but crews believe snow kept it from spreading further.
The structure was destroyed.
No one was hurt.
