DENVER — Airport officials in Denver are warning travelers to keep dogs off the moving walkway after a dog’s paw got stuck in one Thursday morning.
Emily Williams, a spokesperson for Denver International Airport, told Denver7 the animal’s paw got stuck as it walked along with its owner on the moving sidewalk in one of the airport’s concourses.
Luckily, people around the dog noticed the situation and hit the emergency stop button, Williams said. The dog is OK and did not suffer any injuries.
Williams said that dog paws and dog hair is not safe on the machines. They ask people to simply walk alongside the moving walkways or take an elevator.
