DENVER — On Aug. 3, 2016, the body of a man was found in the 1400 block of Grove Street in Denver. The coroner has been trying to identify the man ever since.

On Wednesday, the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner (OME) released a sketch of the man in hopes someone from the community will recognize him, and the office can close his case.

The man, described as a transient, frequented the area of Federal Boulevard and West Colfax Avenue during the summer of 2016, according to an OME news release.

The unidentified male was Caucasian, likely between 45 and 60 years old and approximately 5-feet, 10-inches tall. The cause and manner of his death were not released.

The man appeared to have undergone surgical procedures at some point in his life. During an examination, OME investigators found surgical hardware in his jaw and hand.

If you know who this is or have any information that may help lead to his identification, please contact Denver Office of the Medical Examiner Investigations at 720-337-7601.
