DENVER – Good morning, everyone! Here’s what you need to know today on Wednesday, July 26.
1. Wet weather begins to impact Denver metro
A dose of overnight rain cleared way for a clean commute, but afternoon showers are expected to impact the Denver metro area.
These showers have prompted an anticipated flash flood watch for southern regions of Colorado, including Colorado Springs.

2. Hit-and-run suspect located after boy hit in parker
Police thanked all of those who shared the story of a boy being hit by a driver just before noon on Tuesday, as they finally located the driver — who lived in the same neighborhood — hours later.
Police warned drivers to keep their eyes peeled for kids, as summer break is in full swing.
3. Broncos training camp begins
Players report today for training camp, although rookies have already been on campus for quite some time. This will mark the first time many players get the chance to compete for 53 coveted roster spots. Over 30 players will be cut over the next few weeks.

4. Broncos ticket sales begin (including half-price tickets!)
Get your trigger finger ready — Broncos single-game ticket sales begin today at 2 p.m., and with those sales come a once-in-a-season deal.

5. Nothing is wrong at DIA — but you might see a disaster drill
If you see a large-scale emergency response at DIA, don't worry, it's local authorities preparing for disaster response.
A large-scale training is scheduled for 9 a.m., but authorities could be seen at the airport throughout the morning.
