Deputies: Suspects caught on camera stealing $10K+ in cigarettes from gas station

CENTENNIAL, Colo. – The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two men who are suspected of stealing more than $10,000 worth of cigarettes from a Centennial gas station.

Deputies said the suspects entered the Shell station at Arapahoe and University at about 5:15 a.m. on Oct. 5 and one man asked to use the restroom while the other walked around the store selecting items for purchase and keeping the clerk’s attention.

The man who asked to use the restroom took cartons of cigarettes from the storeroom and left the store via the fire exit, deputies said.

Deputies said one suspect has dark hair and a large tattoo on his right hand and was wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt. The other man has brown hair and was wearing a Colorado Avalanche sweatshirt.
