Three deputies helped rescue a man who had a heart attack while shoveling snow this week.
"Deputy Dillman actually did chest compressions on him to start his heart," Jamie Renee Springfield wrote on the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office's Facebook page.
The sheriff's office said after the man was taken to the hospital, the deputies, Dillman, D. Springfield and G. Youngs, finished shoveling the driveway. The sheriff's office didn't release the deputies' first names.
The man's daughter sent the sheriff's office a note that said, in part, "These guys went above and beyond today. Thanks JeffCo! I always worry about my 70 year old mom but after the kindness and helpfulness of your officers it put my mind at ease to know you guys are there."
