DENVER – Twenty-thousand Muslims live in the Denver metro area, and many of them are concerned by the recent travel ban from seven prominently-Muslim countries.

Mohamed Hamdy, with the Colorado Muslim Society, says most of the people that worship at the center are largely from Somalia.

"We probably have about close to 40 people from different nationalities," said Hamdy.

Following the recent mosque shooting in Canada, Hamdy says they plan to speak to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's office on ways to the keep the center safe.
