DENVER — A Denver7 viewer said they would match up to $25,000 to Denver Inner City Parish, the organization announced Tuesday, which will allow the nonprofit to continue operating past Friday.

The unidentified person offered the donation following a story published Monday that reported on the organization’s financial troubles and pending closure.

Denver Inner City Parish board of directors told Denver7 they can no longer support Colorado's booming population that's bringing more people with needs to their nonprofit.

The organization serves more than 20,000 people in need in the Denver metro area, including the homeless, those with disabilities and senior citizens.

People who wish to donate can do so by clicking here.
