DENVER -- Take a walk around Denver and there's no doubt many sidewalks are in need of repair but it's homeowners who will be footing the bill.
Inspectors will begin identifying problem sidewalks later this month. Click here to see which neighborhoods they will be looking at first.
Once those areas are identified, homeowners will have 45 days to make the necessary repairs. They can choose to hire their own contractor or use the city's repair program.
Residents will have a chance to ask questions about the sidewalk repairs during a town hall meeting Saturday morning. It will be held at the Denver Botanic Gardens located at 1007 York Street in Mitchell Hall. The meeting begins at 10:00 a.m.
