DENVER — Police in Denver are investigating an early morning homicide near the intersection of Perry Street and W. Colfax Avenue.
Tyrone Campbell with the police department said the crime occurred around 1:50 a.m. Friday.
A police sergeant at the scene told Denver7 that the shooting wounded one man. He was transported to the hospital. At 4:40 a.m., the police department tweeted they were investigating the crime as a homicide.

By Friday afternoon, the Denver Police Department tweeted more information about the crime.
Officials said the suspect vehicle was a 2015 Cadillac STS four-door sedan with Colorado license plates 208-QON. The suspects who eluded officers after a brief chase on Interstate 25 were also partially identified through surveillance photos:
