A man fell from a light rail platform in Denver, temporarily shutting down service.
Police tweeted that a crash resulting in a serious bodily injury happened just before 3 p.m. Monday at 20th and Welton streets.
Denver police said the man went to the hospital for a head trauma.
It appears the man fell from the platform and hit the light rail train. The Denver Post reports the train was moving.
The station at 20th and Welton was closed briefly.
20th & Welton closed due to an incident. D Line to & from Downing is not running. Bus bridge in place between Downing & 18th & California.
