DENVER — Police in Denver are investigating two separate early morning shootings that occurred within an hour of each other.
At 2 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to the area of 22nd Street and Champa Street. They determined that two people had been shot and one of the individuals had walked to a local hospital. 22nd Street from Broadway to Champa Street was closed during the investigation.
There was no suspect information available as of 5:45 a.m.

About 45 minutes after the first shooting, police responded to the 3600 block of Cook Street, where they found a person who had died of a suspected gunshot wound.
Police said they didn’t have a description of a suspect in this shooting.
