DENVER — New documents from the Denver Police Department further detail what police found during and after the arrest of a man accused of firing a gun multiple times by Coors Field on Saturday.

Around 11:23 a.m. that day, Denver police officers responded to 2701 Blake Street after receiving a report of shots fired. When officers arrived at the scene, which was just east of Coors Field, they heard more shots.

Police then saw Bryan Lambert, 39, with a Smith & Wesson M&P15, which is an AR-15-style semi-automatic rifle. He placed the firearm and multiple magazines on the ground and was taken into custody, police said.

When officers searched the nearby parking garage at 2701 Blake Street, they found nine spent .223 shell casings and two vehicles that were struck by gunfire. The damage to each car was estimated to be over $1,000.

Police reviewed surveillance video from Coors Field security and saw Lambert fire the rifle on different levels of the parking structure. He also leaned over the edge of the garage and pointed the rifle into traffic along the 2700 block of Blake Street, police said.

Nobody was injured.
