DENVER – The Girl Scouts say it has recovered some of the money stolen from a cookie drive in front of a King Soopers Thursday night.
Three thieves took off with $200of the troop’s cash as they stood outside the store selling cookies sometime around 8 p.m.
“There were three people and one of the guys took the pouch that had all the money in it,” one of the Girl Scouts who witnessed the theft told Denver7.
Police have yet to say how the money was recovered or if any suspects have been identified.
King Soopers said they would replace the stolen money.
