DENVER — Denver police are investigating what led to a triple shooting just south of the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge Monday evening.

Around 8:30 p.m. Monday, the Denver Police Department said officers were responding to a triple shooting.

Officers arrived at Crown Boulevard and Albrook Drive in the Montbello neighborhood where they found three male juveniles with gunshot wounds. They were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to their legs and torsos, police said.

Police said the shooting occurred along the 5300 block of Atchinson Way, several blocks northeast of where the males were found.

There was no suspect information available as of Monday evening. This is an active investigation.
