DENVER — Police in Denver are investigating a homicide Friday morning, and believe the deceased person was stabbed.
The Denver Police Department said officers were conducting a death investigation around 3:30 a.m. along the 2400 block of Niagara Street. Around 5 a.m., the case was upgraded to a homicide. The deceased person, who was only identified as a man, appeared to have been stabbed, police said.
Around 11:20 a.m., the police department announced they had taken a juvenile male into custody in connection to this crime.
