DENVER -- It was a bewildering scene in the Capitol Hill neighborhood Tuesday night.
An older-model Lincoln sedan with two flat tires and broken glass sat parked at a busy Denver intersection. Police later called it a homicide investigation, but could not say what led up to the man’s death.
Police were initially called to North Marion Street near East 13th Avenue near around 7:30 p.m. The car was found with its driver’s-side window smashed in the keys still in the ignition. Blood could be seen on the inside of the door.
The victim was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. He has yet to be identified.
Police detectives have not said if they are seeking a suspect at this time. No other information related to the investigation was released.
