The homicide was reported by Denver Police around 8 p.m. in the area of East Ellsworth Avenue and South Pennsylvania Street near the Wash Park neighborhood. The suspect remains at large.

Police say the incident started with an altercation between two people who investigators believe knew each other. No firearms were used in the commission of the homicide.

No other details surrounding the investigation were available. However, a Denver7 crew on scene saw at least one person in custody, but it’s not clear if the arrest is related to the investigation.
