DENVER – Police investigated and removed an “inert” explosive device found near a home in north RiNo Wednesday night.
Denver police tweeted just after 11 p.m. Wednesday that an “explosive device” was found in the 4500 block of Grant Street. DPD says the device was secured and removed.

A spokeswoman for Denver police confirmed Thursday the device was not a threat.
