Denver police asking for public’s help identifying suspect responsible in man’s shooting death

DENVER — Denver police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect or suspects in the shooting death of a 41-year-old man.

On Saturday at 1:59 a.m., officers with the Denver Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at or outside the Beer Depot at 4235 W. 38th Avenue in the Berkeley neighborhood.

When they arrived, they found an injured man. He was transported to Denver Health, where he later died. The man was identified as 41-year-old Erik McAllister.

An autopsy found that he died from a gunshot wound and that the manner of death was homicide.

Police are asking the public for help identifying who is responsible in McAllister's death.
