PINE, Colo. -- Coloradans love to look at nature's colors during the fall and enjoy the outdoors, and Denver's Adaptive Recreation Program made sure a group of people did just that.
It's a program dedicated to people with disabilities. Denver's Adaptive Recreation Program offers different activities all year round.
John Lanham makes sure he's at them all along with his daughter, Asia. Lanham said his daughter has autism, and it's something he said he wouldn't change about her.
"I didn't look at it as a problem, I looked at it as a challenge to make sure they she lives a full life," Lanham said.
Once a year some people who participate in the program take a trip to state park to see the fall colors. This year, it's at Staunton State Park.
"Just seeing nature, trees colors change and seasons and stuff like that, fall, orange, red," said Nick Wersrock.
