DENVER -- Authorities locked down Denver's Johnson Elementary Monday just before 2 p.m. as police rushed to the scene.
Denver Public Schools officials said Monday the elementary school locked down for roughly a half hour over a suspicious person on campus.
Denver Public Schools safety officers and Denver Police officers both responded to the scene. Authorities said police performed a room-by-room search of the campus before reopening the school..
It's not known whether or not a person was taken into custody.
