DENVER -- Good morning! Here’s what you need to know today, Wednesday, March 28, 2018.

1. What's the latest on Mayor Hancock controversy?

Denver City Council held a closed-door meeting Tuesday night to discuss the sexual harassment allegation against Mayor Michael Hancock. Councilors ended the meeting after about three hours and without making any announcement. We expect to hear more from the council today.

2. Will the G Line get the green light?

We could find out today if RTD's G Line will get the go-ahead to start service. The Colorado Public Utilities Commission has hesitated over the G Line's use of new technology to control crossing gates, which has also been an issue on the A Line. Even if the commission gives the green light, the start of service is still a few months away.

3. School safety commission to meet in DC

Today is the first meeting of a newly-formed school safety commission in the nation's capitol. Education Secretary Betsy DeVos announced the commission shortly after the school shooting in Parkland, Florida.

4. Stormy Daniels wants a deposition

Adult film actress Stormy Daniels, who says she had an affair several years ago with President Donald Trump, now says she wants a deposition to get Trump on the record and under oath. Daniels' attorney is asking for a court to consider the motion on April 30.

5. Another storm on the way

This morning will be dry and mostly sunny with increasing clouds and the chance for rain and maybe even snow showers later in the day. Temperatures will drop into the low 40s by the afternoon and then lows will be in the upper 20s early Thursday.
