Denver K-9 works security during Super Bowl 50

Posted

One of Denver's most important players involved in Super Bowl 50 isn't even an athlete.

Special Agent Rennie Mora and Randi are an ATF K-9 team from Denver, working security for the Super Bowl.

"We've been searching a lot of vehicles in a lot of key areas in the city for the NFL Experience" said Special Agent Mora, "We're making sure that these delivery trucks for whatever goods they're bringing are swept properly."

Randi is no stranger to security work. She has been an explosives dog for three-and-a-half years, and back in November, was brought in to sniff for explosives outside the Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood.

"We're always looking for that odor, however it's nice to know that we don't find it" said Special Agent Mora.
