Yes, the state fair treat can now be made at home -- in your oven, toaster oven or frying pan.
And if you've dreamed of chocolate Twinkies, you're in luck. Hostess is creating Deep Fried Twinkies in two flavors -- original golden and chocolate.
However, there is one catch. If you want the chocolate version, you'll have to shop at Walmart because Hostess has signed a deal to offer the chocolate flavor only at Walmart.
If you're thinking, I must have these and I must have them now, you'll have to wait until Monday. Deep Fried Twinkies go on sale Aug. 15.
If you're wondering just how calorie rich these new Twinkies are -- the answer is they have nine grams of fat and 220 calories per cake.
