Buy a toilet or sprinklers, get a rebate

Posted

Are you replacing any sprinklers this fall? Maybe a toilet?

If so, Denver Water, and several of its partner agencies, are offering rebates, if you purchase certain items.

First, let's talk toilets.

If you buy a toilet with the WaterSense® label you'll get a rebate. Buy a toilet that uses an average of 1.1 gallons per flush or less and you'll get a rebate up to $150. Buy a toilet that averages 1.11-1.28 gallons per flush and you'll get a rebate up to $75.

Toilets must be purchased by Dec. 31, 2015 to qualify. There's a limit of three toilet rebates per residence per 10-year period.

How about those sprinklers?

If you're replacing sprinklers, buy Hunter MP®, Rain Bird®, Toro® Precision™ and K-Rain® rotary nozzles and you'll get a rebate of up to $3 per sprinkler head.

You have to buy at least 10 sprinklers heads to get a rebate.

Learn more about the rebates on the Denver Water website.

Who qualifies?

The rebates are for Denver Water customers and customers of 22 agencies that get water from Denver Water including the city of Lakewood, city of Glendale, city of Edgewater, Cherry Creek Village Water District and more. See the full list on Denver Water's website.

While Denver Water serves 1.3 million customers in the metro area, if you're not a Denver Water customer ask your water agency if its offering any rebates.
