1. Smoke moving out later today
A cold front making its way through Colorado should help push out the clouds and smoke later today. Expect high temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s.
2. Pres. Trump to make DACA announcement
President Donald Trump will make an announcement about the DACA immigration program today. The president is expected to announce an end to the program, with a six-month delay. Thousands of people are living and working in the U.S. under the program.
3. World Art Drop Day
More than 130 artists will be leaving their work around Denver today, as part of World Art Drop Day. Look for the hashtag #ArtDropDenver on social media for clues on where to find works of art.
4. Hurricane Irma strengthens to Category 5
Irma continues to pick up strength as it makes its way West. The hurricane is expected to make landfall in Florida sometime this weekend.
5. Top of Mt. Evans Highway closes today
The top five miles of the Mount Evans Highway will close for the season today. The road closes every year around this time in order to help preserve the area's natural resources. The highway will reopen for the summer on the Friday before Memorial Day, weather permitting.
