Denver7 has a follow-up to a story we first reported Tuesday.
The College Board, which administers the SAT exam, has confirmed that this year's 11th graders in Colorado will not be required to take the SAT.
The state will administer the ACT to high school juniors for one more year before making the change to the SAT's in Spring 2017.

This year’s 10th grade class will still be required to take the P-SAT.

This decision comes as the result of a backlash from school districts, parents and students statewide after the Colorado Department of Education announced two weeks ago that it was switching the state required test from the ACT to the SAT this spring.
