Crews from the South Adams County Fire Department fought a house fire Dexter Street near East 70th Avenue Monday afternoon.
"Crews are in the defensive strategy," fire department officials said on Facebook at about 4 p.m.
When AIRTRACKER7 flew overhead at about 5 p.m., there were still flames visible at the back of the house.There was extensive damage to the back of the home. It looked like the front window of the home had been broken out.

There was no information available about whether anyone was inside the home when the fire broke out.
Crews are still working to determine the cause.
