A crash involving a car and trash truck blocked lanes on westbound Highway 36 during the Monday morning commute.
The crash happened just after the 80th Avenue bridge at about 7:15 a.m.
The driver had to be extricated from the car, Denver7 Traffic Anchor Jayson Luber reported at 7:30 a.m.

There's no official word on the extent of the driver's injuries.

Investigators have not said what led up to the wreck.
