BRIGHTON, Colo. – Country band Midland is coming to Colorado for a free concert this summer in honor of a fallen Adams County sheriff’s deputy.

The Texas-based trio will be performing at the Adams County Fair for "Back the Blue Night" on Wednesday, Aug. 1 at 8 p.m.

The free show will include a remembrance ceremony in honor of Deputy Heath Gumm, who was killed in the line of duty in January. While tickets are free, organizers are asking that donations be made to the Adam County Sheriff’s Foundation.
