Coroner identifies man shot, killed in Aurora Monday

AURORA, Colo. – The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office has identified a man who was shot and killed outside a home in Aurora Monday evening.

Leon Reimers, 32, died of a gunshot wound to the neck, the coroner said.

Police found Reimers in the driveway of a home in the 1900 block of Ouray Street around 5:30 p.m. Monday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses to the shooting gave police a description of the suspect, which led them to an RTD bus. The unidentified suspect was taken into custody without incident.
