PARKER, Colo. – A company that last year announced plans for a large-scale video production facility in Parker now says it’s looking for a new site following a land dispute.
Redbarre said in August that it would built a 1.9-million-square-foot facility near E-470 and Chambers Road that would create as many as 4,000 jobs.
On Thursday, the company announced that it was abandoning that location due to “an impasse with the landowner.”
The company said it is still committed to building the facility in Colorado but it has not identified a new location.
Redbarre still hopes to break ground later this year, assuming the company can find a new site.
