ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. – Two people died and three others were injured in a rollover crash Tuesday afternoon near the town of Bennett.
The crash happened just after 3:30 p.m. Tuesday near E 38th Avenue and Penrith Road about 30 miles east of Denver.
Colorado State Patrol says a car was driving too fast while eastbound on 38th Avenue when the driver lost control, causing the car to flip several times.
CSP says there were five people in the car; two men died at the scene and the other three were transported to an area hospital.
CSP says it does not suspect that drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash. It said the driver was a man who survived the initial crash.
