Colorado has landed a top 10 spot on Travel and LeisureMagazine’s list of “America’s Rudest Cities.”

Colorado Springs is ranked as the ninth rudest on the list of 15.

The magazine wrote, “ Even if the locals rub you the wrong way, you’ll have no trouble staying entertained in Colorado Springs. The city impressed travelers with its cultural offerings, getting high scores in everything from the galleries and museums to the theater offerings and free attractions — hiking through national parks and outdoor concerts, to name just a couple.”

Now if you thought New York City is the rudest city in America, surprisingly it's not, at least according to this list.

Miami, Florida had the top spot, followed by Phoenix, Arizona.

New York City is ranked third.

Travel and Leisure conducted a 6-month long survey to determine the rankings.

They asked people to submit their favorite place and rate it in over 65 categories, including affordability, notable restaurants, and public parks.
