Tuesday marks the unofficial start to the 2018 election season in Colorado, as Democratic and Republican voters will gather in their neighborhood precincts to caucus. Here’s what you need to know.
2. Police union demands Mayor Michael Hancock to resign
Leaders from the Colorado Fraternal Order of Police will talk Tuesday after the state’s largest police union called for Denver Mayor Michael Hancock to step down amid sexual harassment allegations.
3. North and South Korea agree to talks
North Korea has agreed to refrain from conducting nuclear and missile tests while engaging in dialogue with South Korea, Seoul's national security chief Chung Eui-yong said Tuesday after returning from a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Chung added that Pyongyang also expressed willingness to talk to the United States "in an open-ended dialogue to discuss the issue of denuclearization and to normalize relations with North Korea."
4. Missing 13-year-old Longmont girl found safe in Nebraska
Authorities said Ryan Ehlen was in the company of 20-year-old Wyatt Leonard, who is now being held in the Keith County Sheriff's office in Ogallala.
5. Windy weather continues
