As in past years, Dish Network CEO Charlie Ergen leads the pack. His net worth of $14.7 billion puts him at the 28th spot.
Ergen founded the Englewood-based satellite company, which has over 14 million subscribers, after a career as a professional gambler.
Philip Anshutz ranks 39th on the list. His net worth is estimated at $10.8 billion. Anshutz has made billions in several industries including entertainment.
Cable TV mogul John Malone comes in at the 61st spot with a net worth of $7.2 billion. Malone is chairman of Liberty Media, which is set to purchase Formula One.
Coming in at 232nd, James Leprino has made his money in the cheese business. With a net worth of $2.9 billion, the son of Italian immigrants owns Leprino Foods, the world’s largest mozzarella cheese maker.
The only woman on Colorado’s list is Pat Stryker. She ranks 264th overall and has a net worth of $2.6 billion. Her grandfather invented the modern hospital bed.
