COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — An all-terrain vehicle crash in Colorado has killed one person and injured four others.

Colorado State Patrol Trooper Gary Cutler says the crash near the base of Pikes Peak happened Friday evening. One person was taken by helicopter to a hospital.

The Colorado Springs-Gazette reports the ATV driver was working on the Pikes Peak Cog Railway, a tourist train that goes up Pikes Peak.

The Cog Railway has been closed since 2017 for a $100 million reconstruction.
