Endangered, missing 10-year-old girl out of Brighton found safe

BRIGHTON, Colo. — The Colorado Bureau of Investigation released an alert for an endangered and missing 10-year-old girl out of Brighton on Friday morning.

The 10-year-old (whose name has been redacted now that she has been found safe) went missing on Thursday around 10:30 p.m. from the area of S. 20th Avenue and E. Bridge Street in Brighton.

She is described as a Black female standing about 4 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 85 to 95 pounds, according to CBI. She has black hair and brown eyes.

At the time she went missing, she was wearing black sweatpants, a "Pink" brand pink hoodie and white Jordan shoes with a red tip, according to CBI.
