DENVER -- With so many people moving to Colorado, how do you know if a sex offender is moving into your neighborhood?
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation will send you an email alert letting you know when a sex offender is moving in to your zip code.
The alerts include the sex offender's name, address, crime and photo. You can also sign up to track a certain offender.
“[Parents] also want to have those conversations [with their children] about what's appropriate and what's not. It could be somebody they know and not just a sex offender living in their community,” Said Susan Medina, communications director with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. “Always have that good dialog with your children.”
